About Velvet Symbiosis
Velvet Symbiosis Telehealth was created to make simple medical documentation and prescribing convenient, accessible, and stress-free. Many people need short-term notes for work, school, travel, or accommodations — but don’t need a full appointment, a long wait, or an entire urgent care visit.
We focus exclusively on prescribing that does not require in-person evaluation and documentation services that can be handled safely through secure text-based telehealth. Each request is reviewed by a licensed Nurse Practitioner who ensures your note is clear, accurate, and professionally written.
Our goal is to blend convenience with clinical integrity — providing the support you need without unnecessary steps, complications, or in-person visits.
Who We Serve
Velvet Symbiosis Telehealth provides short-term documentation services to adults who need quick, professional medical notes for:
- Work excusals
- School or training absences
- Sports or physical activity restrictions
- Travel-related medical documentation
- Short-term work or school accommodations
- Simple housing or environment-related letters
States Currently Covered
Patients must be physically located in one of the following states at the time of service:
- Massachusetts
- Maryland
Additional states may be added as licensing expands.
Compliance & Medical Guidance
Velvet Symbiosis Telehealth operates within state Nurse Practitioner practice laws, telehealth regulations, and documentation standards in Massachusetts and Maryland. All notes are reviewed and signed by a licensed NP.
Our services are based on patient-reported information. They are intended for short-term, low-risk needs that do not require a full medical evaluation.
We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or manage chronic medical conditions. If your symptoms require in-person or further evaluation, you will be directed to in-person care.
